Elevator
Phone Monitoring
Among
the services offered to our Dealers, Rapid Response
monitors elevator phones. Using an advanced Caller
ID, Rapid Response takes the incoming calls on
a dedicated elevator voice line. By cross-referencing
the phone number, the Control Center Specialist
then generates a manual signal, which appears
on alarm processing screen. The following is an

GPS
Monitoring & Tracking
Partnering
with Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems, Rapid
Response Monitoring is pleased to be able to offer
cutting edge GPS (Global Positioning System) technology,
including applications such as:
Real-Time
vehicle information: Invaluable in the transportation
industry from trucking to taxi services, GPS vehicle
information can be used even on fleet vehicles
(or the family car). This GPS application can
not only track a vehicle's location, but offer
record of a vehicle's alarm arming, notify of
speeding, offer zone notification, establish route
logs or even establish route geofencing.

IP
Monitoring
Rapid
Response Monitoring offers some of the most advanced
and secure IP Monitoring services in the industry
today. IP (Internet Protocol) monitoring has become
an attractive and advanced option for security
monitoring, taking advantage of the speed and
convenience of the Internet. For Dealers using
or interested in adding IP Monitoring Services,
Rapid Response offers options for Surgard,
GE.Networx, DMP,
Bosch/Radionics and Ademco/Honeywell.
Each offers its own variances and advantages:
From superior encryption to TCP/IP compatibility,
all of Rapid Response's IP Monitoring options
are designed and administered over to assure our
Dealers and their customers speed, security, and
optimum performance.

Radio
Back-up Monitoring
Rapid
Response also monitors radio backup equipment,
primarily through the AlarmNet Network. AlarmNet
is a family of radio communications services designed
for the security industry. Each network is totally
independent of each the other, but can be integrated.
This service is UL & FM listed. AlarmNet's network
automatically supervises all AlarmNet radios at
intervals of 48 hrs, 24 hrs (basic), 6 hrs (High
Supervision), or 5 minutes (High Security, ULAA)
as specified by the Dealer or need. The network
handles all of the supervision, sending only alarms
or failure to report signals to the central station.
Transmission is occurs in seconds. It's so fast;
signals usually reaches the Central Station before
the dialer-based signal!
Rapid
Response Monitoring offers many AlarmNet radio
back-up options, including:
AlarmNet
A: The smallest of the 3 networks, operating
in US major metropolitan areas. Rapid Response
Monitoring currently offers AlarmNet A service
in New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC/Baltimore,
Chicago, Tampa/Orlando, and Miami and Boston.

if service is needed in additional cities. Rapid
Response offers One Way (with a check in at regular
intervals) and Two Way (polled by the network).
Either option will supervise in 48 hrs, 24 hrs,
6 hrs, or 5 minute intervals, depending on the
selection of the Dealer.
AlarmNet
M: (or AlarmNet-Mobitex/a.k.a. Safety Net),
meets the growing demand for greater network coverage.
AlarmNet M provides coverage to more than 90%
of the US urban population. It counts approximately
900 network towers and growing. This option for
back-up service supervises at 24 hours or 5 minutes,
depending on the service selected.
AlarmNet
C: (or AlarmNet-Control Channel) operates
over the control channel of the cellular telephone
network. It has the same coverage as cellular
networks, but has less traffic and no "busy"
conditions. AlarmNet C uses technology similar
to that of a cellular phone call, but sends alarm
data. This option for back-up supervises on a
24-hour basis.
AlarmNet-i
provides commercial and residential customers
secure, flexible Internet monitoring & VOIP
solutions. ALarmNet-i provides fully encrypted
communication, works seamlessly behind firewalls.
AlarmNet-i offers compatibility with a wide range
of ADEMCO VISTA panels, highly supervised, fully-encrypted
communications, ease of configuration and increased
flexibility in transmitting signals to multiple
locations.
Symphony:
One-touch security solution. No other keypad can
touch it. Whether arming or disarming your system,
bypassing zones or controlling lights, the easy-to-use
touch screen display makes it simple, and offers
one-button access to both commercial and residential
subscribers. Users can conduct a variety of everyday
tasks with unprecedented ease.

Rapid
Response Monitoring Special Services
While
these are not actual monitoring services,
Rapid Response Monitoring has developed a number
of "value added" services which, when
partnered with our monitoring options, offer Dealers
and their customers a superior level of account
support, access, and flexibility. In some cases,
Rapid Response has invested both manpower and
capital into the development and refinement of
proprietary products our Dealers can find nowhere
else in the industry. These offerings include:
RapidLink
A
proprietary software developed by our Development
team, this Rapid Response Monitoring product has
been often imitated, never duplicated. RapidLink
gives Dealers the ability to maintain their Account
Database on their own PC (and the ability to read
or change that database from the road with peripheral
PC based devices). Some of the key RapidLink features

RapidWeb
RapidWeb
is another Rapid Response Monitoring exclusive.
This powerful tool allows Dealers to manage active
accounts through the web browser of a hand-held
or mobile device. Invaluable as an "on the
road" tool for Dealers and their installers,
RapidWeb has far-reaching applications, even
allowing
a Dealer to review current account activity on
location with their subscribers to resolve
issues!
With RapidWeb, Dealers can:

Offer
subscribers access to their own accounts
to view current information and/or history.

Reports
Rapid
Response Monitoring supplies (on request) a number
of reports for Dealers use and/or for their customers.
These include open/close reports, verification
reports, and code cards.
Open/Close
Reports are periodically mailed, the
frequency depending upon whether the Dealer chooses
to have the reports mailed, faxed or sent via
e-mail. Our Dealer Support Services Department
can send reports direct to the Dealer or to the
subscriber. The following is a sample of an Open/Close

Verification
Reports may be sent to subscribers to allow
them to verify their account information and provide
a copy of this information for the customer's
file. They are printed on a pressure-sensitive
double-form, so that the customer may keep a copy
and return the duplicate copy to Rapid Response
Monitoring. The following is a sample of the verification

VPN
Access
In
conjunction with Blue Ridge Networks, Rapid Response
Monitoring is pleased to be able to offer VPN
(Virtual Private Network) connections to its Dealers.
This VPN is a secure point-to-point connection
which is established between the Dealer's computer
and our Rapid Response Monitoring control center
computers, and allows the Dealer to:

history on accounts in real-time
Rapid
Response takes the quality and security of its
information services- and our Dealers account

establish this VPN connection to assure the safety
