Introduction
RapidLink
Version 10 for Windows is a Dealer Access Program
written to give you complete, 24 hours a day access
to your Customer Database. The program retrieves
information from the Central Station Automation
System and stores it on your own PC. Therefore
you can store and view account histories, run
reports, and maintain your database all offline.
Requirements
In
order to run RapidLink for Windows, you must have:
- Windows 2000, Windows
XP, Windows 2003 Server and/or Windows Vista
(32 Bit)
- Pentium

High-Speed Internet Connection (DSL or Cable)

Functions
RapidLink
10 is a multipurpose program. It serves all needs
for monitoring your account database as described
below. With RapidLink 10 for Windows you can perform
the following functions:
View
Account Database Through Uploading and Downloading
of your account information with the Automation
System, your database is stored on your PC. You
can view all account information Address, Call
List, Passcodes, Zone Info, Open & Close Schedules,
and more!
Edit
Account Database You can make your own database
changes with RapidLink. Once you save your changes,
simply Upload them to the Central Station.
Put
Accounts On and Off Test RapidLink gives you
the ability to dial directly into the Automation
System and put accounts on and off of test without
operator intervention.
Viewing
History You can store your account history as
long as you like. There are purging and archiving
functions available to minimize the size of your
database files on your hard drive.
View Messages All messages taken by the Central
Station are downloaded to your RapidLink, allowing
you to track calls. These can also be stored, purged
or archived as desired.
Run
Reports Once your information is downloaded,
you can run several types of reports. You can even
format a Page Header for the reports if you wish
to mail them to your customer.
