River Parish Security Systems is a family company that was founded by Fritz Englade Sr. in 1973. Early on the company focused on educating business owners about what a burglary alarm system was and selling them on its value. In the beginning River Parish operated with only two employees. Fritz Sr. was both a salesperson and installer until he added a technician to the team. He would sell systems in the morning and come back later that day to install the system.

Fritz Jr. started working for the business part time at the age of 15 and became full-time after college. For the past 30 years, he has grown the business and expanded its service offerings under the motto of “service makes the difference.”

Today, River Parish still grows through relationships with their customers and through working with local construction contractors. They are heavily involved in the commercial fire market which is their area of biggest growth. Additionally, they provide CCTV, Access Control, commercial security and residential alarm systems.

The Englades worked with several monitoring companies over the years until joining the Rapid Response family of Dealers in 2000. They were one of the original 3M Wholesale Monitoring Center Dealers and an early member of the National Guardian Dealer Program. In the nearly 20 years that they’ve been a Rapid Dealer, River Parish has implemented many Rapid Response technologies into their core business operations. They have come to rely on services like Rapidmobile and RapidWeb to function each day.
